Over 100 interested filmmakers responded to the Call for the Co-Production Prize 2012. According to the regulations 47 projects were submitted to the Jury for selection, amoungs which were six animation, twenty documentary and twenty one short feature projects.

THE LAST DAY
Its been a grey and rainy Sunday on the 11th of December in Prishtina but the cinema hall of SKENA UP was filled with people knowing that it was it worth to come.

A lot of young filmmakers have to deal with the question how to finance the production of their films. In order to support the young talents also in this sense a bit Sébastian Aubert from France was invited to hold a conference at 10 am at Hotel Sirius on How to raise funds from private sponsors?

"I AM MISSING THE QUESTIONMARK"
The sun was shining over Prishtina on Day 5 of the SKENA UP Festival while lots of people were strolling in the streets and Bernd Buder invited to a new panel discussion at Hotel Sirius. Culture as a bridge between nations was the topic of the round but as Ronald Bregan, art critic of English newspaper The Guardian, mentioned in the very beginning it should rather have been phrased as a question.
